About

I have had the privilege of living many beautiful places – Wyoming, Utah, Kentucky and Arizona. Each of these landscapes informs my work and I am grateful for the lessons in light, texture and color each landscape has brought to my work.

As a child, my maternal grandmother taught me to love and appreciate odd objects for their shape and texture and their ability to become part of a narrative all their own. Whether it was a shard of glass, a button, a bottle cap, a key or a fragment of a broken tool, I learned to see it all as full of possibilities.

As my work has evolved, the elements of painting, collage and assemblage have come together in mixed media narratives that tell themselves onto a canvas or in a box or beyond.

It is my hope that you find a meaningful connection with my work and apply a narrative all your own.
